Be Comfortable in the Uncomfortable
May 16, 2011 | theultimatee
I don’t know about you but I want to be known for my ability to overcome anything, to be known as the woman who was afraid of nothing and no one, because I was so on target with my purpose and passionate about achieving the “impossible” in my life.

Inevitably, with the pursuit of achieving the “impossible” comes new territory and with new territory comes an open door for fear and insecurities. Welcome to the world of uncomfortability. However, if you are truly intending to be successful, comfortability is never a place you want to stay very long. If anything, the feeling of comfortability should be your warning flag that you are no longer growing. And if you’re no longer growing, it’s no longer possible to achieve the “impossible”.
If you’re not growing, you’re dying.
Society tells us to “be comfortable”, but you were not created to be comfortable. You were created to live uncomfortably because therein lies your greatness. That’s when the real YOU is really discovered. Living comfortably just means you’re getting by, living uncomfortably means you’re pushing your limits and by pushing your own limits, I promise you that you won’t be able to help but reap amazing benefits. But, you have to be willing to do whatever it takes.
Are you ready for that?
Are you ready to step out and take a risk?
Are you ready to step out and do what you’ve never done before, or even what no one else has ever done before?
Next time you feel the fear, insecurity, doubt, or worry about doing something, I encourage you to be excited and stimulated by the emotion because it means you are onto something!! You are pushing your limits!
Keep going!
I once heard the quote, “A good coach will always ask more of you then you will of yourself”, granted, I don’t consider myself to be much of your coach, but maybe a voice of reason or outside eyes… either way, I am telling you that YOU are bigger then the things you are facing today!! And I encourage you to challenge me in this and then prove it to yourself that YES YOU CAN! Remember, the closer you get to achieving your “impossible”, the more value you provide to this world around you.
If you are willing to do only what’s easy, life will be hard. If you are willing to do what’s hard, life will be easy!
BE COMFORTABLE IN THE UNCOMFORTABLE. Dive into the areas you are resisting. You will either be a person who is known for being stopped or as a person who won’t be stopped… which one are you?!
Go make it a GREAT day!!
